Description

The Countryside Building Blocks by Raduga Grëz are inspired by summer days in the countryside. The set combines simple, childlike shapes with more geometric elements in rich yet calm, natural colors.

Children can lay the pieces flat in the wooden frame to create a landscape, or stack them to form a three-dimensional play world. This allows for new stories to constantly emerge with blue sky, a calm lake, green fields, treetops, houses, a sun, a moon, and even a reclining kitten.

Precisely because there is no fixed way of playing, this set is perfect for open-ended play. A blue block can be the sky today and a river, roof, or part of a tower tomorrow. The child decides what each component represents and how the story develops.

Raduga Grëz creates wooden toys for modern families who value creativity, natural materials, and beautiful design. The designs are deliberately open-ended: the toy doesn't dictate what a child must do with it, but rather provides space for self-discovery, building, and imagination.

The toy pieces are handmade in small batches from solid wood. The natural wood grain and small differences in texture are allowed to remain visible, giving each piece its own character.

Handmade from solid linden wood

The Countryside set is made from solid linden wood. Each piece is hand-sanded smooth and finished with a matte water-based paint.

The natural wood structure remains slightly palpable. This not only gives the blocks a beautiful appearance but also provides extra grip during stacking.

The finish used is non-toxic and the set complies with the European toy safety standard EN 71.
