Description

Meet Milo, a large and wonderfully soft teddy bear from Main Sauvage. With his checkered Sienna shirt, light overalls, and small knitted pouch, he looks ready for an adventure at any moment. The pouch even has room for a small found treasure, like a pebble or a leaf.

Milo is entirely hand-knitted from 100% baby alpaca wool and, at approximately 42 cm, is a truly big cuddly friend. Baby alpaca feels exceptionally soft and naturally has hypoallergenic and antibacterial properties. The plush toy is suitable from birth and complies with European safety standards for toys.

The story behind Milo also makes him special. Main Sauvage's plush toys are handmade in a fair-trade workshop in Bolivia. The workshop provides women with good working conditions and a fair income, contributing to better living conditions for families and education for children.

The baby alpaca wool used is a renewable, natural fiber and comes from a spinning mill in the Bolivian Andes that collaborates with small-scale alpaca farmers. Where possible, Main Sauvage uses the natural colors of alpaca; other colors are made with eco-friendly, non-toxic dyes. The filling consists of fibers from recycled plastic bottles.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Preferably, wash gently by hand in cold water with a mild detergent, for example baby shampoo. Soak briefly, clean gently, and rinse thoroughly. Do not wring or twist. Carefully remove excess water, reshape, and lay flat on a dry towel to air dry naturally.

Machine washing is possible at a maximum of 30°C on a delicate cycle, but hand washing is recommended to keep the wool in the best possible condition.

Storage

Allow the comforter to dry completely before storing. A sachet of dried lavender or a piece of cedar wood nearby helps to keep wool moths at bay.
