A special feature of this version is that the colors used consist entirely of natural shades of alpaca. Therefore, no dyes have been used for this plush toy. This not only gives it a calm, natural look but also makes each item a beautiful fit for a timeless nursery.

Handmade with a special story

Main Sauvage's knitted cuddly toys are entirely handmade in a fair trade workshop in Bolivia. There, women receive good working conditions and a fair income. This way of working contributes to better living conditions for families and helps with the education of children.

The baby alpaca wool comes from a spinning mill in the Bolivian Andes that collaborates with small local alpaca farmers. Wherever possible, Main Sauvage uses the natural colors of alpaca, such as white, black, gray, and brown. Only when other colors are needed are environmentally friendly and non-toxic dyes used.
